Experiment in abandoning several musical structures that're employed to define concepts of musical coherence for the human brain. I usually do that at times already, sometimes unintentionally, but this time is more sincere. And who better than the masters of abandonment, Joy Division, to lend song for the occasion?
I actually love the drumparts in this.

Well, I don't know how it works around here, but I never am serious when I use those emotion icons or text emicons (or whatever you want call them), except when I'm really excited about something.
Ah, Legos, I always wanted to buy their really huge things with five thousand pieces, but my dear old mama never let me and now I can't find any that are worth doing, they're all so small and simple. As for music, it's nice to meet you, I'm a person who takes music very seriously too! I tend to have no form either, just "proper" textural links for me, mostly by multiple introductions of similar motifs.

What are you talking, no coherency, you keep a fairly constant rhythmic "ostinato" with your guitar.
I don't know why, but I found myself snapping my fingers to this. I'm not a stickler for form, if you think about it my music doesn't actually have "form" it's more of a texture that uses very small motifs that are repeated ad nauseaum, like complex techno!

Naw, I liked this! Form is for pussies (the feline type) and with the text (which are quite coherent) you don't need such strict form, it's like the old madrigals and motets where the only "coherency factor" was the text.

If you'd break down this song to the verses and choruses, they don't conform at all.. because I let the vocals lead with in-the-moment timings. Doing those guitar rhythms and then the lead-off at the cues from the vocals (the text, as you noticed) rather than following the time signature the music would suggest. If you're as deranged as I am you're not actually faced with any difficulty when you're adding another part to that (electric guitar and drums).
