Remember Death. Yet do not fear it. Though it may visit us at any time, whether sudden and disguised or plain and seen from afar, it comes for all with the certainty of its necessity. It is not for us to defeat Death, only to accept it, and to face it with confidence and serenity. Let its inevitability remind us to make something of our lives, to pursue our goals and dreams. Let us live in a manner worthy of remembrance and love. Let us help those around us in whatever way we can. Let us leave this world better than we found it. And let us face Death without regret.
There are many lessons offered by the last year. Let us learn well from them. Live your life so that you can meet Death with your head held high, free of burden and fear.

This is one of the icons I got last year, made by the amazing  iDoodle2Draw . Unus Annus was a big part of last year, and it brought a lot of people some much-needed joy and humor during trying times. I really appreciate the message that Mark and Ethan brought us in between all the crazy shenanigans. So, it seemed fitting to take the chance and honor the memory of that great project, and what it's done for so many of us.
