Meet The Girls of M.I.N.X. an action adventure humor comic I came up with for Shanda Fantasy Arts comic company. The first chapter actually got done with a different artist before DAQ agreed to join the project. There is a chance we may revive it as an online strip.
Anyway, meet the ladies, they are (left to right)
Sargents Grey and Manx from Team Question Mark. A cat & mouse duo who work well together except when they both want the same guy. My take on The Dirty Pair these two are sent in to assess the situation and see if MINX should follow up with the full team. Not exactly known for following rules & regulations they do have an ace in the hole when dealing with the commander, they know her first name.
Commander Herd, head of SILK the main team inside MINX. tries to keep things on a military setting but the other girls have different ideas. has a sixth sense about danger and traps, trouble is it only seems to activate after it is too late. Very embarrased about her first name.
Mama Bear their transport pilot. Can drive or fly anything. A bit overly violent at times and does not know her own strength leaving many of the MINX vehicles with bent steering devices. As an inside joke I made her unseen boyfriend who she talks to on the phone a lot Baloo from Talespin.
Captain Elizabeth Paige Sachet, prefers to be called Betty. Second in command, she is a skunk with a rather nutty sense of humor. Also has an uncanny understanding of any electronic devices, almost like she can talk to them and understand what they are saying.
Lieutenant Patricia Mae Squirl, yes that is the correct spelling. The new girl at MINX, Patty Mae is a master (mistress?) of disguise and like everyone at MINX seems to be infected with pulling pranks to pass the time. Inside joke in the first ep had her writing her cousin Amy and telling her to say hi to Eric which is a Sabrina Online reference.
Captain Jewel Coten (pronounced cotton) a lop rabbit with a serious attitude. She is actually a shapshifter who was banished from her people. Since they regard family and clans as very important she often is depressed. But gradually is beginning to feel that MINX is her family. She does do the occasional prank though.
Not shown. Team Question Marks two fanboys who help them out convinced they are their favorite anime characters brought to life., Jewels daughter who would be introduced in a special story. And villains, since I love puns the regular villains are a group of feline telepaths called the Cat Scanners.
