Yeah, recently upgraded my computer system and this snazzy new desktop pumped full of eye candy and new features is the result. Life on the bleeding edge of technology is expensive alright, but I could argue that it's worth it for something like this.

Okay, lame joking aside, this is what my desktop looks like at the moment, if you could even call it a desktop. And yes, this is currently by choice. Decided to load up Openbox for the first time since a major system-upgrade on the OS and remove a lot of the stuff I had added to make Openbox act more like a standard environment, removing the panel, a few of the settings daemons, the background drawing file manager, the GTK theme (now reverted to "simple" and a lot of other misc. changes such as retro-fying openbox even further. Now with my array of old-school apps I don't have to worry too much about CPU usage or power consumption! :P
