I took a break from creating new characters for myself for a-while, but with the new year I'm finally letting myself make this new gal ^^
Iridalea here is someone who's been a vague idea for years now. Even before I started drawing. Older than all but Ynaa herself.
Originally it was more just thinking it could be fun to have a Draenei character, but she didn't have a name or any concept beyond that at the time.
Recently playing WoW again, though, finally got me remembering her again and now at last she exists!
Rather than just going with purely Draenei for her, I had also been thinking again of taking another try at hybrid characters so I figured why not try something crazy and make her a Draenei/Worgen hybrid. Not gonna lie... I was a-bit hesitant with this combo as I wasn't entirely sure how to approach it or how it would even look. But then I came across an old picture someone did of a Draenei/Worgen hybrid (and the only one I could find) that gave me some hope that the combo can work.
So now here we are! Iridalea who's a Draenei with some Worgen characteristics (mainly just in the ears and muzzle) and more of a warrior goddess than the rest of my cast.
I'll admit, I didn't even realize it until I was done with her colors, but accidentally made her glows and her sword the same color as Azerite XD
Her backstory is still under development, but it's fixing to be a doozy and filling a very important hole that's existed with regards to the origins of the abilities of many in my cast.
A little hint of it all, though, is that up until fairly recently she was a fairly low level goddess in the universe (at best able to get to about moon or small planet sized). But the rise of certain other individuals in my cast have led to hers as-well. To the point that now she's a galaxy dwarfing goddess who is stronger than all but the post-universal tier group of Ynaa, Kyth, Kthaarae, and Kyra. One thought I had was for her title to be Goddess of Hopeless Causes, but as I was talking about her with a friend, he suggested the more badass sound title Goddess of Defiant Fates. A goddess who embodies and is empowered by people defying their fates and taking life into their own hands. Certain individuals of late have really been doing that~
Also as one more little hint regarding how she's related to the origins of much of my cast... You may notice that her sword is made of glowing crystal, but it's almost like it's damaged and missing bits...
Personality-wise, she's a good, kind, and respectful person who has gotten to where she is through tireless hard work and a firm belief in doing the right thing even if she has to make great sacrifices of herself. She's also a former mortal who has risen to this point and downright ancient compared to everyone else on my cast, including Viktoria (who herself is not actually a former mortal). This actually means she can have some fun interactions with Viktoria (also just adds more salt ot Viktoria with all these upstarts and now this olllllld goddess who for a long time was weaker than her is surpassing her XD).

As always, questions, comments, thoughts, suggestions, and critiques are welcome!
