i honestly prefer Jackson's portrayal and it has very little to do with Race. i just feel he fits the spirit of the character more. Granted I also felt that Fury being in a leadership role of SHEILD to make more sense than as some Mercenary Agent officer. But I also will fully admit I don't read the comics so I was never fully exposed to Fury pre-JAckson's portrayal.
