Hmm, it has nothing to do with Seth, they often mistake Wepwawet for Anubis, but they are not brothers.

As the Anubis wiki page said "Anubis is associated with his brother Wepwawet, another Egyptian god portrayed with a dog's head or in canine form, but with grey or white fur."

On the Family section it says that Anubis is the son of Osiris and Nepthys.

This could be done as one of the stories about Anubis's birth was like this. Nepthys and longed to have a child but Seth was infertile and unable to sire children. Jealous of her sister Isis; Nepthys waited until Isis was away and disguised herself as Isis and slept with Osiris and that lead to Anubis's birth. Since he looked like Seth no one questioned his parentage. But when Seth discovered the truth he kills Osiris.
