Our first newfoundland dog. We named her "Joy". The name really suits her since she does bring pretty much joy to her family.
Where she was from is not similar to the term "joy". She was one of many young sick dogs on a van. Most died during the transport. She was rescued and brought to germany and got medical care. We were worried she'd make it. Joy turned 4 this year. A wonderful caring dog.
