This is a re-do of an old picture I did a long time ago, except I have no idea where it's at, but I really liked it and decided to just redraw it. :)
Hope y'all enjoy the mouse chowin' down on a sub sandwich.

Do you know what we do here?
WE EAT OFF EACH OTHER'S PLATES!
Well, actually, sometimes we ask to try something if we want to know what it tastes like, and the other person says, "Go ahead" and we...get a fork and sample the food off the other person's plate. :)
My mom told me that's not a good thing to do in France...

Well, that's a good thing, as far as I know there are many resemblances between the two - I'm sometimes able to understand a few things even though I never learnt spanish (I chose german).
Nobody ever asked me to be a professor on french though, I don't know where to begin with... ^^''' You would ask me for some mathematics that would have been relatively easy, but here... XD My biggest default being that I rather "feel" languages rather than apply any rule to build my sentences, how to explain something you don't even use yourself?!
Maybe I could ask you this first: how do you "feel" french yourself? Does it look easy or not, logic or not?

Thank you!! ^^
There is no secret though: I was quite mediocre until the end of college, and then... I began to have an english penpal and read american comics. Few monthes were enough to completely reverse a level that never progressed in 15 years!!
But I'm not sure wether you feel the need for fixed rules learnt the one after the other, or some more flowing practice, it really depends on your character.
Anyway, I don't think pronunciation is much of a barrier, it is on the contrary the easiest thing because it is based on fixed rules and few exceptions. While rest of french is the contrary XD You might have eternal difficulties to pronunce french correctly, that would not be a problem for you to write it good enough. I know this more than anything else as french people are quite known (and I can tell you it IS true!!!!) to have an absolutely HOR-RI-BLE english/american accent LOL
