As crappy as this year has been, I have found a couple silver linings personally. I'd been going though some pretty bad depression for the past couple years, when they shut us down to work from home I suddenly had an awful lot of time to think. It forced me to confront myself and that eventually led to me forgiving myself. I care about myself for the first time in so long that I can't even remember. I've lost now just about 40 lbs and am on track to lose 25 more by about April (my goal.) :D! And I've began to study a subject that I feel I'll be happier working in, in the future.

I'm also so thankful for my wonderful friends, my long time friends, the super cool new people I met recently, and friends who came back into my life this year. I feel very lucky.

I know a lot of awful things have happened this year, and I just hope anyone who reads this is doing ok and if not I hope things get better for you in the new year.
