Here it is, the story of Si Kucing - or, The Cat, in Indonesian, who finally realizes that his calling lies in joining the FBA.
I had fun writing this one and it is my first attempt at writing anything related to sports, ever. Especially the FBA. I hope you guys enjoy it. In any case, I took a couple liberties here, including introducing a regular sponsor to the FBA's seasons and matches: the World Charity Fund, or WCF, run by Cliff Matthiews' own dad, Kline Matthiews.
If someone unaffiliated with the FBA is having trouble understanding, lookup the FBA - Furry Basketball Association, run by
BuckHopper.

Nice!
I may have to go to you for editing.
The dream drew me in, my eyes were glued throughout.
One thing though, the rings were known to be lost/given away before/during June of 1993 according to:
Here in Coffee with Mr. Korber and...
Here in the Week 21 FBA podcast
But I'm sure they'll let it slide for you.

Nice read!
First of all, I quite enjoyed the story. A reasonably easy read, and a good plot.
Secondly, a minor note: Cliff Matthiews would be allowed to keep the ring; all he has to do is sign an agreement not to give away, sell, or bequeath the ring without the FBA's approval (generally easily given; they just want to know where the FBA-sanctioned rings are). Just letting you know; it's quite believable that Mr. Matthews wouldn't know (yet).
Thirdly, a few questions about spelling:
-- Was "bawling face" supposed to be "balling face"?
-- When you said "awared" did you mean "awarded"
Sorry, as a writer myself, I tend to notice such typos.

Egads! I seem to have made even more typos. Thanks for pointing them out.
Firstly though, thanks. :D
Next, well, Cliff wouldn't know yet, since he did figure out the ring was supposedly the FBA's in one way or another since the owner's dead, he thought that since it's missing, should return it. He may decide to keep the ring, however, but may not as well since...he isn't really a coach or anyone deserving of the ring. He's humble like that.
And lastly, the spelling issues.
I had no clue what i was thinking when I wrote bawling. Honestly.
And awared, probably was awarded.
Thanks for pointing them out again, glad you enjoyed it - thanks for the fave.
