A story of Konogo being visited by his human brother Kono as a spirit for one last time.

It was a starry night, after doing so many quests today Konogo was quite tuckered out after a long day and instead of heading home he decided to rest at Starglow Lake, as he sits down and watching the stars in the water glow he was starting to fall to asleep for sec before jerking wide awake upon hearing a familiar voice.

???: well someone's abit tired are ya little bro?

Konogo: huh who said that wait that voice I know that voice no way is that-?

Upon recognizing that voice Konogo turns around to look behind he was surprised, the person that was standing before was his human brother Kono with quite a cheerful look on his face.

Kono: hey lil bro miss me?

Konogo: b-b-big bro is that really you?

Kono: of course it's me silly what's the matter you hit your head again?

Tears begin to shed from Konogo's eyes as he got up rushed at Kono and quickly hugs him which surprises Kono.

Kono: woah!

Konogo: big bro you alive! *he says as he was crying*

Kono: well not really.

Konogo: wait what do you mean?

Konogo then notice spiritual energy emanating around Kono.

Konogo: no way your a-?

Kono: yep here I am as a spirit a physical one at least, anyway *hugs back* look at you all grown up and strong I see you been training alot.

Konogo: yeah pretty much.

Kono: and by the looks of it you been on many adventures have ya?

Konogo: yeah about alot and I have lots of fun to *smiles joyfully*

Kono: still full of energy heh-heh that's my Konogo, hey let's sit down and chat for a bit, I don't got that long here but so lets have awesome chat while I'll still got time left here.

Konogo: okay big bro there is so much I gotta tell you! *wags tail in excitement*

After while Konogo was sharing his stories to Kono about the many adventures he had before and now, the friends he made along way, the strong enemies he had faced, and the challenges he had been through and all the fun things he had and done, Kono was proud and happy of how far Konogo came to be even decided that he got time to share his stories of his old adventures while he was still alive in another world meanwhile a star fox was curiously messing and playing with pieces of Kono's spirit energy, pretty much the Konogo and Kono had a long great heartwarming chat.

Kono: ah man you know just sitting here and taking with you and seeing you again alive and well and still full of energy it's just puts my spirit more at ease like I feel more at peace now.

Konogo: Im really glad big bro, especially just seeing you here again I-I feel really happy *he says as he sheds more tears*

Kono: oh quit your crying big tail besides Im really happy to see you again to, knowing how much you grown and how far you came, Im just-Im really pround ya of Konogo *pats and rubs the top of Konogo's head like he did before when Konogo was still a youngling*

Konogo: thanks big bro *he wipes away his tears* I really miss you.

Kono: I miss you Konogo, Konogo your the best fox and the best little brother a guy like me can ever have, we may be two different species and we may not be brothers by blood but we are brothers by heart!

Konogo: brothers by heart!

They then fist bump eachother and as soon they did that Kono's spiritual energy started to shift and parts of his body slowly began to dissipate into particles.

Konogo: huh hey what's going on?

Kono: "sighs" welp looks like my time here is finally up, this is the last time we see each other again.

Konogo: so I guess this is a goodbye then?

Kono: yep my adventures are over but yours and others are never ending.

Konogo: wait before you go!

Kono: hm?

In the last moment Konogo hugs Kono very tight as a final farewell gift, Kono then hugs back while smiling as he sheds tears himself.

Konogo: goodbye big bro!

Kono: g-goodbye lil bro!

The last of Kono's body fully disspates into spiritual light as he fades away in the air but not before Konogo hears Kono's voice one last time

Kono's voice: no matter what Konogo never give up, always be true to yourself, and keep on living.

After that Kono was gone for goodm Konogo sat down and cries it all out even the star fox was sadden and comfort Konogo, after awhile Konogo felt a bit better as wipe away his tears who stood up proudly and decides to return to home but not before patting and rubbing the star fox's head and giving him joyful smile.

Konogo: see ya around little buddy.

Konogo then leaves as the star fox waves goodbye, after seeing his brother again for one last time Konogo's resolve and determination became ever more stronger and his will became more unbreakable, knowing putting his brother soul at peace made him stronger then ever before and all the more determined for future adventures to come, but for now he's gonna head home for good night sleep.
