I noticed that normally when I draw mouths normally, I make the outline of the mouth form the expression.
But then there's all these other artists who use the outline as like, a black backdrop and then make the teeth & tongue form the expression.
They can even use the same backdrops with different shapes to the teeth to create different vibes. I loved that!
So i was trying my hand at experimenting with that sort of styling.
(I'll either color these eventually, or toss them into scraps)
