Now I am way over my head! Because from now on SmokeBite will be in color (Hope it will last *lol*)
Sorry for the late update but I hope the upgrade on the comic will make it up to you a bit. I really happy with the smoke effect <3
Do you like the simple color I put on the comic? or should I back to the b&w style?
Anyway, enjoy!
P.S Blame
if Mr.Smoke's suit color looks like Blacksad XP
I corrected the grammars error on this page now, with the help of
of course.

Uh-oh~
I think you've done a good job with the colours - I like the overall atmosphere and style. I know it's more work to do it in full colour, but it's also good practice. If you keep it up, I'm sure you'll soon get even better and faster with your colouring.
And this is the first and only new page so far, right? I almost missed it, because my in-box is always flooded with stuff. Just want to make sure I didn't miss another. :P

By adding color, Defago, you have turned an excellent comic into excellent art. That is a really great rendering of smoke. The right color and the right amount of transparency.
I hope that coloring the pics isn't making each page too long to complete. I would hate to have you give up on the comic because of all the work you are putting into it.

That's a very good speaking and it's fill my heart with happiness. <3
The coloring process for this page only added one hour and a half. I think I can keep up with this rate if I keep on this simple shading style,
but who know how long it will take when the comic get more complicated.
Anyway I'll do my best

I must say that this is a really interesting comic so far, and this page itself was quite a delight to read, your style really helps show the fluidity in the actions and such :)
And you get some serious props for the curves of the lenses in his glasses, most people tend to just make the lenses flat, but this shows a really good eye for details on your part :D

I'd say he's more in the 45 range, then, which is amazingly cool. A shame you haven't continued this comic! I think it has a lot of potential and, definitely, Defago is a very interesting character. I'd love to know why is that raccoon in his house.
Also, I must say Defago feels like a very fun [and dangerous] individual to tease.

You know.. I think with the way this is going, it's ending up less like a break in, and more like a mafia story. XD
I mean really now. I'm waiting for the next line in the upcoming page to have the phrase "so, where did you hide the money?" :P
I mean, I have to admit, the way you drew the raccoon makes him look like a guy that's down on his luck (Well that would explain why he happens to be stealing food in the first place now doesn't it?)
However, I also like how you colored this. It looks a lot like a noir movie.. however, it also keeps that old fashioned gritty theme with the colors. (It's like I'm not looking at the comic. I'm watching it on an old TV. And I like that~ ) I think.. you took the picture through.. a noise filter in photoshop? As it looks a bit grainy, but that's how old fashioned movies are SUPPOSED to look.
But it's still an impressive work here none the less oh Defago~ :)
