After enjoying making the Beast I decided to try my hand at one of my two favorite x-ladies, Jean Grey. This cel was so much harder. For starters it used two tones of blue, flesh, and red, and three tones of yellow to orange for the body suit. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, except my lines were wobbly from an unsteady hand, and I have her a lil too much ass, and......well I mixed black and flesh instead of gray and flesh for the shadowy flesh tones.... Okay, I like it, but totally ruined my Jean with derpy eyes to boot! I had two extra days off from work for the holiday and just spent one of them in my room, tidying and painting this.
