I love these little guys, they are both cute and gorgeous! It's a rare moment when one lands close enough and long enough to get a good shot of it in the summer if the weather is mild. When it's really hot, they land on the docks in one of the parks I frequent and just lay on the floor planks with their wings all spread out around them to stay cool. I admit, I was rather alarmed the first time I saw a bunch of them doing it. I thought they were sick or dying or something horrible! Now I realize that they just do it to keep cool, or in some cases, to sunbathe just like we do!
