Oh no... when I said I wanted to learn Python, this wasn’t what I was expecting!!!

You were sitting at your desk one day, typing away furiously. You were working on your coding skills, as your skills could always use some refining. Never hurts to be sharper with your abilities in code.
Today, the language of the day was Python. Sure, it is an easy language to understand, but it was still nice to take a step back from Javascript and C# and the like, and focus on the other stuff.
“Easy stuff!” you said, watching with pride as your code managed to run and run perfectly at that. The feeling of satisfaction was one you cherished as a programmer. “I really need to try something harder.”
So you did. And you may have bitten off more than you could chew, because thirty minutes in you were next to pulling your hair out.
“Why doesn’t this work?! Everything should work! Aaaargh this is so frustrating!” you cried, screaming at the screen.
Ah yes, the two moods of a programmer.
You were practically seething at your computer. “This dumb thing. I’ve half a mind to absolutely desssSSSSSStroy you!” you shouted, only realizing a second later that something was wrong with your speech.
“TessSSting? TessSSting? What’sssSS wrong with my Ssssss?” you said to yourself, reaching a hand up to your mouth in confusion. Only then did you feel the wiggling at the base of your spine, rapidly growing and causing you to wince as the seat of your pants stretched and constricted a growth that was inside, before finally ripping and shredding to reveal…
“A tail?!” you exclaimed, turning around in your swivel chair to see what was hanging from your rear end. You quickly scrambled to your feet, suddenly realizing that you weren’t as tall as you once were. In fact, you were steadily shrinking! The walls and the furniture gradually grew taller as you dipped down.
“My fasssSSSSSe isssSSSS pushing outttt!” you exclaimed as you could feel your nose stretching farther away from your face, taking your mouth along for the ride. You could also feel your ears shrinking away, though you could still hear.
But your tongue, oh wow your tongue. It grew longer, thinner, and forked at the end, and you could feel so many sensations suddenly unlocked for you! You were busy tasting the air as your hair fell off and you shrunk even lower.
Your arms and legs felt weaker, your fingers pudging up and shrinking away into a blob before getting sucked up inside your torso. Your legs followed suit and soon you fell on your stomach. Your very long stomach.
In the end you were a skinny little danger noodle, reaching about fifteen feet long. You were on the smaller size of normal pythons, complete with vibrant colored scales that shimmered in the light overhead.
Speaking of your scales, they covered your entire body in a nice pattern of dark rings and splotches. They were smooth to the touch and using your tongue to sense your surroundings, you could detect yourself and recognize that your changes were just about finished.
(What the heck?!) you screamed in your head, looking at yourself, moving around your noodly body on the hardwood floor.
You wanted to be better at Python but… you could at least take this as an alternative? Only problem now is, you can’t code! Oh well...
