The honey blonde color of the sapwood gives the Ziricote top of this baritone ukulele a “skunk stripe” sort of effect. It is certainly eye-catching and won’t assault your nose like a real skunk

Thanks, V. An unexpected bonus was the reflection of the blanket that it is resting on, providing some "texture" at the bottom of the photo. I'm very happy with that effect.
