This is the first mandolin I purchased for myself. After buying my Ovation mando, I offered The Loar to my son as an upgrade to his old mandolin. He has yet to claim it and I am leaning heavily toward withdrawing my offer. She sounds nice and is one beautiful instrument with that honeyburst finish.
