Sky my male malamute was very protective of his toys after we got Tundra. He would stash them on my side of the bed away from her. The look on his face when she ripped one of his squeakies up was of shock... Sky bit Tundra when she dropped the squeaky he grabbed it up to get it away from her.
The only time I saw Sky get aggressive with Tundra was when she got near his toys.
