Meet spirit, or at least the vessel they take now. Originally a sort of lightning elemental they ended up trapped in the power grid during its early days, and as time passed they flit about constantly growing in strength and knowledge with the booming rise of technology. Eventually Spirit found herself in the computers of Synth/Android technology researchers, who he then began assisting in the creation of their new body~
