I does strongly remind me of his work. I've read a few scans of his stuff that features anthro-animals beside Fritz the Cat! I like it!

His stuff is gross and perverted, too. More respect it, than like it lol. The "underground comics" vibe is what I'm going after, settled into it cuz I realize that's where I'm drawn, in both sense

60's and 70's underground comics to be exact! XD

I've read a few of his comics online they're remarkably hard to find in full anywhere! I found the complete Fritz the Cat on ReadComicsOnline.to

I love the art style and I knew I seen this style before and it hit me! XD
I'd love to see my own characters in this style someday! My earliest designs of my main character I did with more the Fritz the Cat idea in mind with him simply being a cartoony Rat-Man in a skull shirt and cargo shorts that would pop up to give advise or make smartass comments.
I'm not into the complete gross-out humor but a little is fine! XD Can't stand full on vomit or scat humor on screen!

I loved the fritz the cat movie lol, haven't read or seen much of his other stuff. Just saw the documentary based on him, which again, I love. Inspirational stuff to see how successful he became

Oh, he hated the movie! I'm surprised though as the movie is shockingly close to his comics.. just kinda stitched together from like 4 different stories! XD
I love a lot of his other weird pop culture landmarks like Mr. Natural and Keep on Truckin' as they were like the original memes! XD You've seen them before you just don't know it til you see them again! XD
