After Kuro and Shiro had wiped out the black dragon tribe, they investigated the remains of the village once the flames had subsided. Among the ruins, they found a small underground area, which contained strong weapons and two very unusual outfits. Kuro claimed two new swords and an outfit that was clearly made for the body of a dragon. The suit is constructed of a material unknown to the two. This material cannot be penetrated by even the sharpest of blades. This was perfect for Kuro, as he prefers fighting up close and personal. Shiro claimed a new bow and the other outfit, which was more appropriate for a griffin. Shiro's outfit is capable of making him completely invisible, but only if the hood is worn over his head. This makes sneaking up on his enemies much easier, although he prefers to keep at a distance with his bow.
With their new gear, the two have decided to start their own business, offering services such as mercenary work, protection and eventually, assassinations. With the results of their work being so effective, the demand for their services grew quickly, as did the cost. With their wealth quickly rising, the two are living quite comfortably compared to before. However, it appears that wealth may be going to their heads. It's not uncommon for those unable to afford their sericves, to still make an offer below the asking price. Anything less is usually met with a smirk from Kuro, followed by a request for Shiro to remove them from his sight.
I wonder why no one in the black dragon tribe was wearing either of these during the attack.
Note from Kuro: The suit that Kuro is wearing was inspired by the Anti-Ock suit from Marvel Spider-Man on the PS4. Shiro's outfit was inspired by the outfit worn by Doctor Strange. Shiro's bow is the Yoichi Bow from Final Fantasy XIV. Kuro's pose is from the unique monster, Reckless Godwin, from Xenoblade Chronicles.

As I told you, I find this piece really amazing ! Jadan really did a nice work with both of their outfits, and the atmosphere is great. I wonder if eLu in YoRHa armor would be any match for him hmm

Oh my, just moved to your page after recent Azany's art and figured out I favorited this art some time ago, thinking about uncanny resemblance of these characters and characters of my novels...
And only now I had time to actualy read your profile to figure out you are writer as well.

It looks like the story of these two had finished an art ago (which does not prevent you from enriching the past though).
I wonder if there is a written story behind that illustrations - something tells me that you know how to make thick atmosphere and explain it to the artists (and good at picking the right artists). Even if there is a plot hole with wondrous armor (who made it? why no one else used it? especially during the siedge? and if they used it how they were killed? - let it be like that) I still see interesting world with different cultures of diffirent races. Add it to the scenes of intimacy and you get some interesting story. Not great, but not terrible. That's my impression from what I've seen

Some of the art involving the two is not really part of the same universe. The most recent art is separate. The story behind it is a bit personal though, which is why I decided to leave it out.
I mainly just post parts of their life together; not necessarily trying to tell a coherent story that will have a grand finish. I am not surprised to hear there are plot holes. ^^;
