A very angry baby Great Horned Owl that came into the rehab center yesterday. Was found in someone's yard and is way too young to fly.
He's healthy so was put with momma foster owl and the 5 other Great Horned Owl babies who've found their way to the rehab center already this season.
He'll get to go back to the wild, momma owl is good at teaching the babies to be owls even though she's flightless.
My site is kind of back up here's an index for photos taken at the rescue. Eventually it will have thumbnails again, gotta find someone to re-do my site for me now, the "upgrade" took away my instant thumbnails that I didn't need HTML to do. D:

It's awesome... except the murder... that was less awesome and a little sad. Though happy raptors get to eat the rabbits and rats so it's ok.
Really I'm enjoying it, the hard labor is good for me and I adore being able to do so much to help these amazing animals.
I'm gunna make a journal in a minute about what I got to do yesterday. :D

The vet that treats this rehab's animals when thy need vet care is amazing. I got to watch him do a surgery on the wing of a baby Double Crested Cormorant. I posted a pic of him in my journal actually.
The lady who runs the rehab is amazing, I've learned more in 2 days with her than I did in my actual bird husbandry class.
