In between Republic military campaigns against the Separatists and the Disney Corporation, Anakin and Chanticleer sometimes have jam sessions on board the RSD Resolute. Chanticleer had already brought his acoustic guitar with him to Coruscant, but Anakin bought him a new Les Paul immediately following the Battle of Cartoonia. This was so that Anakin could have someone harmonize with him while he plays the main melody on his Flying-V electric guitar, or valachord in his galaxy, which he custom-painted to look like his Jedi starfighter.
Chanticleer's blues riffs initially didn't mesh well with Anakin's 80's power ballad/hair metal lines, but they've managed to find a perfect balance. They sometimes do solo competitions, with Anakin launching into his own metal-like riff and Chanticleer going for a more Chuck Berry/Little Richard-inspired rock solo.
