I’m becoming more than a casual writer of late. In my RL job, I read a lot of classic works, authors, and original documents (some even by our founders). One of the habits our founders had was written journalism related to their reading; a “Commonplace book.”

Between all of the history, I also discovered my ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War, in the battle for New York (umm .., we lost that particular battle). Anyway, as I read works of Aristotle, or John Locke, Adams, etc., I now have my own commonplace book.

This quill set I’m getting as a Xmas gift is from a place that provides authentic reproductions. This will be cool! It’s even got the ink and well.
