Boyhood is Brief

We were boys who go to school afraid of getting cooties from the girls and teasing or bullying other boys for not being macho or too girly. We had formed close friendships with one another, bonding over video games And super heroes, but when we became adults, the grown up boys hesitate to connect with other men in fears of being “homo”. We were taught that Boys and men do not cry, they do not talk about their feelings.

The boys grow up not understanding the girls they grew up along with and wonder why girls do not like them. Or what is the secret code to win a female’s heart. They will secretly consult help guides or look up to men and try to understand how they do it.

Boyhood is very brief.
