This is the reversed version. My first attempt of actually saying something backwards. Didn't work amazingly, but it's funny, and good for my first try I think :p
"ssti baiw gneet nuh mai, hhss" = Shh, I'm hunting wabbits

Oh & hey i heard this awesome thing the other day:
"Son, I am able" she said "(though you scare me)..." "Watch!" said I "Beloved," I said "watch me scare you, though." Said she: "Able am I, son!"
(Srsly tho i was terrified(+intrigued) by the infamous Twin Peaks scene... that backwards speaking is as easy as just reading the syllables in reverse is kinda a letdown -- i had imagined it involved all kinds of other freaky phoneme mangling...)

Nope, it's fairly easy if you approach it right. Although pretending to speak backwards does involve phoneme mangling as you call it :p
There was an awesome Simpsons comic (Of all things) where Lisa dreamt she had fallen into a dictionary or something, and she travelled through loads of different literary principles to find her way out. The Palin Dome was my favourite, which was owned by Otto and his brother Bob. They spoke, of course, entirely in palindromes, and it was there I learnt about "Madam, I'm Adam" and "No lava on Avalon. No Lava, no Avalon". Although the Thesaurus was quite cool as well. A dinosaur which had to list every synonym of every word it said. Ah, that was an awesome issue :)
