Posting this before the other pages and art for tomorrow: Leggy Lamb from the Droopy Wolf Short 1958 Sheep Wrecked and Goldie Sheep (as I like to call her for her obvious hair due feature) from the 1945 Beaky Buzzard WBs short The Bashful Buzzard.

While Leggy Lamb has certainly taken certainly the popularity among furies and anthro artist, before her there was another poor little lamb who got peel from her wool by another predator:WB's Beaky Buzzard. In the short The Bashful Buzzard, which is a redo of "Bugs Bunny gets the Boid" (except no Bugs in it and Beaky been the full focus), Beaky tries to demonstrate he is as good a Boid of prey as his more effective brothers, and he dive bombs to get a Sheep, which he rips its wool off leaving her just with her undergarment. Beaky bashfully apologizes and gets beaten with a scrub by the angry lamb. This is the short that ends with Beaky capturing of all things a Dragon.

Fun fact: long ago, I stated that Leggy was the inspiration for my OC, Mary, but know I'm certain it was Goldie, because I distinctly remember the one trait of the character that got me to draw Mary decades ago was a blonde sheep, but often I would see Sheep Wrecked and Bugs Bunny gets the Boid. So for a while I assumed I had gotten myself "Mandela Affected", up until a week ago, when by some reason, YouTube been YouTube gave me, of all things, this precises clip of "TBB" in my suggestion, cause I'd been seeing Looney Tune clips online as of late, and I gasp, because I was right, I did saw a blonde sheep that was the inspiration for Mary but it was in another short different from the previous two I was more familiar with.
