This year has been especially hard to pick from. Because wow, have I improved a fuckton since last year. I'd say, as much as 2020 has been absolute shit, it's surely been an important year for myself in terms of art skills and personal growth.

Throughout Year 7-10, I had been struggling to find myself. Not getting used to the feeling of falling out with friends, not prepared for more complex social situations. Hell, I'd argue not mature enough to gain a following online.
However all of the challenges this year had thrown at everyone, including me, has made me pay close attention to the social landscape around me and reflect on the things I regret doing years back.
It's been very eye-opening. I feel like more of a young adult than I ever had been.

My art skills have improved tenfold, and I can safely say I've developed a fairly decent style.
Striking linework making everything look so sharp, bold colours that pop out at the screen, dry yet whimsical character-driven humour, it's everything I had ever hoped my art would be.

It's definitely an improvement over the pubescent phase of my art - the DeviantArt era, I call it.
I just... oh god. Why. WHY.

So yeah, I'm definitely proud of my current self, now that I've gone past my cringy angsty teenager phase, and I'll only be improving from there! See you in 2021!
