I've been revisiting Lance, particularly his personality. Nowadays, I like to imagine that he acts like a bit of a hardass, but in reality, he's a huge dork.

So basically Final Fantasy VII (incl. Remake) Cloud Strife.

Lance is a character I've had since... Middle school, I think. He originally had this weird angsty personality (likely due to some self-insertion going on) and would brood for the sake of it. He still channels edgy JRPG protagonist energy, but I've tweaked it to where it's just a front to make up for his lack of social skills.

... So I'm still just self-inserting.
