Sherazade always had a habit of zoning out whenever she gets into the groove of something. Usually, that something would be eating.
But today, she was in a whole different kind of groove, a musical groove, and as the next catchy beat began to play, she began to try and get a feel for said beat, and how else does one get a feel for the beat than tapping one's foot? ... Well, there are other ways of course
But like the dinosaur she is, of course she would start at the foot. Fitting really, since that particular floor at the club was often coined the "quake floor". Sherazade didn't really know why, but maybe it had something to do with that well-sculpted, rather authentic-looking city model just below the clear glass floor. It was an interesting design choice for sure, but clearly one designed to make dinos like her feel proud to be so big.
That feeling just made her want to slam her foot against the glass even more, imagining herself really making those little buildings and all the imaginary mites within them rattle with such little effort. Granted, normally she would be against the idea of destroying small establishments not meant for her type, but here she could just let loose and go with the flow of the music.
But of course, being so into the music, there was no way she could've known that the replica under her tapping foot was in fact no replica at all. Those tiny buildings WERE in fact filled with little mites, and every "tap" to her was more like a "BOOM" to them. Who would build a whole dance club on top of a tiny city like this? Someone with a crude sense of humor, apparently.
One could only guess that perhaps contract agreements allowed the tiny city to be preserved so long as the club owner could still build his club in the exact spot he wanted. Oh well, at least there was still a strong floor of glass separating the town from the wrath of club goers' feet...
... Still, that glass had its limitations. After all, Sherazade is heavier than the average Stegosaurus...
Dinocember commission for
. Sherazade shakes it, and the city below her just shakes.
This was a really fascinating scenario. I hadn't yet done a micro city being used as a prop inside of a macro establishment.
Enjoy!
