Lion cubs and their fathers can be quite different. It seems that, much of the time, adult male lions just want to sleep while the cubs just want to play! In this shot, a lion cub clearly objects to his father's intention of not paying attention to him and begins to chew dad's ear in protest!

Cue dad standing up in a groggy state, staring into space for a few seconds, walking about three feet away from the cub, plopping down and going to sleep again.
