Y-eah! Had another one of those blind-folded dreams again. This time I was running after something, but my eyes were sheilded. Odd thing is- I sort of knew where I was going so... NO RUNNING INTO TREES! lol Rocks may be another story. jk

*blinkblink* Does that make me weird? *gasp* Just kidding! ^^
It IS interesting. Just imagine how I feel here! I'm thinking it has something to do with "not seeing what's in front of me"? Something symbolic or something. Thats the impression I'm getting when I have these. But its not as if I'm blindfolded and cant see. I watch them like, through a third person view but I know thats me. You ever had dreams like that? (without the blindfold of course)

No, my dreams tend to be "first person singular": everything takes place from my point of view. (Recently, that point of view has begun to shift in time from my current age to infancy, often within the same dream. I must be getting old, I guess.)

A blindfold dream could suggest so many things, all of them contradictory: a sense of helplessness in your ability to navigate through life; a sense of confidence in that ability; a desire for greater conscious awareness; a desire for *less* conscious awarness and more input from the subconscious; a sense of being trapped, afraid, and flying blind; a sense of quiet confidence and freedom as you confront the unknown without maps, with nothing to guide you but your own instinct.
You can see why this kind of dream would fascinate me. ;)

Perhaps dreams are less mysterious than accurate, less a chaotic jumble of symbols than a lucid reflection of our own opacity; if we could understand ourselves, then we could understand our dreams. The older I become, the less I know about myself; and for that reason, my dreams have become all the more mysterious.
