I love this photo. Pintails are one of the most elegant of the waterfowl species, right up there with Wood Ducks. Naturally the males are prettier than the males :-P That's nature though I suppose, and let's face it, that means us females are that much better equiped for survival! This was taken in Ohio somewhere... This guy posed for me a few times, but this was by far the best shot. It's funny how some animals just seem to enjoy being photographed!
