These guys are absolutely amazing. They have no problem with people, as long as you do everything on their terms. If you don't play on their terms, they will run at you with wings outstreached, making the weirdest call you have ever heard. This has never happened to me, but I saw it happen to a poor golfer who was just trying to play through them while they were grazing. Poor guy. The pair that are more or less both in this shot were really great to me. I sort of hung out 2 or 3 feet away from them for an entire morning, just shooting away to my hearts content, as well as just enjoying the experience of being so close and witnessing their feeding and comunal behaviors.
