Lets be honest here, this year has been an unyielding bombardment of one bad thing after another. As we move into the new year, we must not lose vigilance - these problems aren't gonna just evaporate as the clock ticks over to 2021.

But for all the bad that's occurred, we must not lose sight of the good that has been seldomly laced between. In the face of adversity, there is also growth. In the face of despair, there is hope. Aster, as i've often found myself in the throws of stress, anxiety, and loneliness, you've managed to not only put up with my lows, but also managed to lift me up from them as well. I cannot begin to find words with enough gravity or fitness to accurately describe just how thankful I am for you. I know I can trust you - I know you can understand me. I can only hope that, as time goes on, I can provide and give just as much as you have.
