With nights getting colder and darker, the streets filling with dazzling lights and neon signs, wonderious decorations smothering homes and ancient plastic trees in the local takeaways, Duski walking by with his hands stuffed in his coat.

Pausing for a second, jingling his wallet as it clinked with spare change, he gave a soft wag as he entered the chippy, the overwhelming, intoxicating scent thick with grease filled the air, disgusting and delicious as the hungry canine eyed up a battered fillet of cod with lust, skipping out shortly with a delectible crispy fish and salty chips to keep him warm as he wondered back home, another wonderful, low-key christmas night.
