Another short bonus chapter for Giant Things & Tiny Things.
And the Denek we know and love was born.
And yep, he stole his signature hands behind back stance from Solta, as a sign of respect.
The title "mirror" has two meanings. The fact that Denek can't see himself in other Hillanders, making him feel like an outsider. It also literally refers to mirror neurons (supposedly the things that let us feel empathy), Denek's are a little glitchy.... He's also not all that smart by Hillander standards. Can you see Denek sitting down and doing algebra? Nope, he was failing classes left and right. Tbf Hillanders have very high educational standards. Frigging nerds.
