So, my Canine Crusader universe really doesn't have any villains, so I've been kinda thinking about interesting villains for the eventual universe.
My first 2 defined villains are: The Fumigator and Sponge.
The Fumigator is a skunk from louisiana. He has a deep love of art, and feels that beautiful artwork is wasted just gathering dust at a museum. He doesn't feel that they're being truly appreciated, so he's turned to art theft. The Fumigator has a potent aroma that he can weaponize to distract and disable opponents. He's learned to mix his natural scent along with other chemicals into potent smoke grenades, and he carries a tank of aerosolized chemicals on his back that he can spray with his handheld sprayer. The Fumigator is not fond of causing direct harm to people, so his gasses are non-lethal.
Sponge is Fumigator's boyfriend. He's mostly along for the ride to protect his boyfriend from anyone that might try to hurt him, and to carry the biggest paintings. Sponge is a physical powerhouse, but his strength is directly related to how moist he is. When he's soaking wet he can lift cars with ease. When he's dried out he could probably be wrestled down by his boyfriend. He wears a wetsuit because it helps him stay moist even when he's out in the heat. The louisiana humidity makes him fairly strong at all times. He's also a great swimmer, and is particularly dangerous in the water, where he is the most wet.
The two live in an old dilapidated manor in a swamp in louisiana. It's packed with stolen art, but it's so far off the grid that they barely get any visitors. The manor's not in great shape, and part of it has probably collapsed into the wetlands.
