This is my feeble attempt to redesign Rook, the Nosoi spy that had been hanging around Anizhar's villa for the better part of a year. The problem is, like most of the characters in our games, I've fallen in love with the original design, and changing anything feels sacrilige.
I can't even find out where the original design came from? And I'm worried it's someone's character? But I dunno.
I love this design for Rook because he looks like he's trying to blend in with material plane society. He's a Nosoi Psychopomp, which is an extraplanar creature that looks like a bird in a plague doctor's mask. He's completely out of his element and he's wearing a big double poncho with what basically amounts to a sombrero. Nothing says "I'm not a spy" like a hat with two giant eyes on it.
He used to have a boot around his neck. He whispered into it to report findings back to his master, but he has since ditched it. I imagine he could use a more clean cut business look to him now that he's back at work.
