Chapter 15: Wolves vs. Dogs.

Wane sees the falls and looks at his pack; he looks at the light in the sky. Dawn was here and he and the wolves move up and start making their way to the Falls. Wane sniffs out the trail for the dogs and wolf that betrayed him and followed that. The woods were nothing compared to Wane’s dark plot to taking out the traitors and his primary enemies.

Wane- Alright pack listen up, we are about to make history! So let’s all get up on top of that mountain and end us a dog pack! The wolf pack howls an agreement with Wane and takes off down the trail leading up to the Falls.

Alpha stands at the edge of the table-top mountain. He looks down into the woods below and hears distant barking and howling. He closes his eyes and prays that Beta arrives soon. The early morning light started to worry Alpha, because it made it easier for the wolves to track them. Alpha runs inside and wakes up the others. Jonathon had fallen asleep on top of Carl’s old bed. He put on his glasses and looked at the clock. It was 6:30 in the morning. Where was Beta and the dogs? They should have arrived at the Falls by now. Then Alpha remembered where they were dropped off the beach of Sunset Village. Sure enough Alpha receives a call from Beta telling him that they landed at the beach at Sunset Village and were waiting for a half an hour. Alpha told Beta to hang tight as they gathered their stuff and started making their way to that direction. Jonathon led the way back to Sunset Village. This trip was worse than the other times they went to this Village. There was a laer grid in the shape of a cross blocking the only way back to the village.

Alpha- great that’s it, we are dead I tell you. I bet Wane had this placed here to make sure we don’t leave this jungle! Well I am not staying in this hell whole any longer, let’s try and find an opening guys! I want to go home!

Britney- Hey guys I think I found a safe way back to the village. It is a little ways but it looks safe enough with no traps or anything that would slow us down.

With that the group moved forward. They kept their eyes peeled for any surprises that might be waiting in the trees or worse, on the ground hidden from view. The early sun was starting to shine on top of the treeline. Sunrise was near and they did not want to stay any longer. They pushed harder and faster to the shore and came to the beach. Sunset Village was off to their right. Britney started running for the village. She wanted to say goodbye to all the nice people that lived there. Alpha and the others followed Raphael was waving to them. He wanted to say goodbye before the gang left. Raphael smiled as he saw them approach him.

Raphael- thank you so much for saving our village guys, we owe it to you two. If you hadn’t showed up lord knows where this poor village would be, under Cole’s control. Oh one more thing, we heard what you did to Fernando. Thank you for removing him, he was going to put his own village under a mind control spell and create havic on his own hometown. So thanks again for taking care of him to.

Alpha- your welcome sir, but it wasn’t just you guys he was hurting. He hurt our family for decades and who helped him? Cole Arnoldson, and we have unfinished business with Wane and Cole. We will make them answer for their sins, I promise you that sir. With that Alpha and the gang hugged Raphael and started making their way to the beach. Beta, Gamma, and Omega were waiting for them to arrive. Beta had a annoyed fave on. He was not happy that he was waiting for Dug and Alpha for almost 45 minutes.

Beta- here I am, rushing to come pick you two up and what do I see before me, a group of dogs, a wolf, and a human? I am sorry but who are you sir?

Alpha- Beta, this is Jonathon Muntz, Muntz’s brother. He has helped us all week and we owe our lives to him. He will come with us, he deserves to retire in peace. This poor man has been through enough suffering and pain. I want him to retire, he’s coming with us. Alright let’s hurry up and get out of here before those wolves come for us.

The pack all gather inside the bridge. Alpha and the gang make their way up the bridge. Britney feels her collar, she starts flipping out, and apparently she had a boa tied around her collar that fell out. She jumps out the blimp and starts backtracking back to the woods. Alpha screams for Britney to come back and orders the dogs out. The pack follows her and she stops halfway and turns around to see the dogs.

Britney- you guys I don’t need you help, I am sure it fell back a little ways I’ll find it and return to you. I promise I will be ok.

Alpha- sorry Britney- it is to dangerous out here in these woods and I don’t want to lose my girlfriend to these terrible woods. We will follow you and keep an eye on things, just to be safe. She smiles at the dog pack and turned and continued walking down the trail. She started sniffing and searched every little area she could to find her precious boa. The sun was now in the sky, it was early morning and Alpha was getting nervous, so was Beta. The two canines walked beside each other keeping an eye on what lied ahead of their path.

Meanwhile, however, Wane arrive at the Falls, he tore through the house trying to find the gang. He was furious he howled and ordered the pack to retreat back to the woods. Now Wane was furious he had a feeling of where they could have gone. Wane walks to the edge of the mountain and looks out into the distance. He did spot the blimp. E knew it, He turns to his wolf pack and orders them to run down to the surface and make their way to Sunset village. Wane took point and the raging wolves made their way back down to the surface and re entered the jungle.

Alpha and the other dogs were helping Britney find her boa. She saw it on the trail where the cross mines was located. She picks it up and turns. Alpha and the others start heading back. Britney makes her way to Alpha’s side and walks with him. She thanked him for coming out with her and helping her find her precious item. Alpha smiled and put his arm around her and walked back. Suddenly on their way back Alpha runs right into Wane. He backs them both into a field and the other wolves backs the other dogs to their location.

Wane- today is judgment day for you two. And you Britney our butt is mine when we get back to the base. I hope you started thinking of names for our litter because you and I will have some fun when we get back.

Britney- I don’t want wolf dog hybridsi told you that how many times now Wane. If you touch me I’ll pin you down on the floor and end you!

Wane- go ahead and try, Master will put you next to Riley’s grave, if you catch my drift. Do you really want to end your life like that Britney? Come on your smarter than this, but you are lowering yourself to a bad girl. And I will not stand for it. Take her away.

The wolves grab Britney and drag her along to the base, they force her inside and they disappear inside. Wane stands in front of the petrified dog pack of Charles Muntz. He eyes all of them and realizes most of the new dogs were all pit bulls, the most misunderstood breed of dog. Wane smiles at them and decides to give them a talk before the big fight.

Wane- You know what I can’t understand about you dogs, is why you purposely involve yourselves with a situation that isn’t yours. Alpha and Dug had to involve you guys and get you mixed up in a fight that isn’t yours. So here is your options: 1, you can leave now and go back home where it is safe and you can live out the rest of your boring lives, or you can stand against us and fight. I promise you all this, you will lose the fight.

Delta- man is this guy for real, I can’t believe this punk. I think we can take this guy.

Zeta- SHUT UP STUPID IDIOT!

Wane steps forward and looks at the front row, and saw Delta looking at him smiling. Wane now was ready to engage the dog pack. He steps up to Delta and makes him step forward.

Wane- What is your name dog?

Delta- names Delta grey wolf, and you must be the wolf we been hearing about right? The one who killed our family and is now on our #1 target list?

Dog pack- SHUT UP DELTA!

Wane- you hear that, your family is telling you to stop while your ahead, because if you don’t you will be responsible for a lot of deaths today.

Delta- please, you won’t do anything, I am not afraid of you. You talk a big game, but you have not shown action yet.

Wane has enough and grabs the pit bill and holds him on the ground. The other dogs freak out and scream they beg for Wane to release him. Wane smiles and shoves Delta into the dog pack, then makes his way to Alpha. Alpha gulps and is ready to begin the fight. Alpha attacks two of the wolves guarding him, and that starts the battle with the wolves and dogs. A lot of madness was going on, Wolves were shoving dogs into other dogs, and dogs were biting wolves on their ears and face. The battle was very intense; Delta came face to face with Raymond.

Raymond- you little punk you will gey the punishment you deserve!

Raymond charges at Delta the two fight and Raymond claws and grips hold of Delta and hurls him across the ground. Delta gets up and paw slaps Raymond in his face then jumps on his back and bites hard on his neck! Raymond shakes him off and grabs hold of Delta and runs him to a nearby tree and holds him trying to strangle him. Delta fights to break free and he manages to kick Raymond in the private area. Raymond falls to the ground in pain and Delta runs to help his family members. Wolves were getting overran by the dogs. Wane searches for Alpha in the madness He snarls viciously and charges for Alpha. He grabs him around his neck and starts dragging him to the base! Alpha claws Wane in the face and tries to run away, but Wane grabs Alpha’s rear leg and trips him.

Wane- I’ll kill you dog! You are dead!

Then Cole comes out with his riffle and aims to the sky and shoots. The gunshot scares the dogs and they take off and run back to the beach to the beach. Cole looks at the wolves who just had a very painful fight with the dogs they thought were weak. Cole sneers at all the wolves that got their butts handed to them by a bunch of pathetic dogs.

Cole- What the hell is wrong with you guys?! You just let a bunch of idiot dogs kick your butt! What happened to all that strength you all talked my ear off about? Get up and finish the job now! I am very disappointed in you guys, you had one job and you can’t seem to do it! Get up right this second and get onboard we’ll take them down from the air, LETS GO!

Wane- If you idiots don’t all want to see the light of heaven, you better listen to master. The Alpha class and I will eliminate all of you. NOW GET ONBOARD NOW!!

The lower class ranked wolves looked at each other and did not want a part of this evil anymore. So they decided to flee. Cole fires his riffle after them, missing each shot. Wane was going to chase them but Cole held him back. Cole said they were heading to the dogs side and that marked the wolves as their enemies now. The other 11 wolves which were true to their family name, and the alpha class wolves follow Cole inside and Wane grabs Alpha and drags him inside. Wane wanted to kill this dog so bad and one wrong move he just might have. Alpha breaks free from Wane and fights him in the hallway. He goes for Wane’s eye! Wane yelps and he strangles Alpha to the floor and went for his neck.

Wane- ENOUGH! You so much as move I’ll kill you! YOU GOT IT! You are in my house now Doberman, and the way things are going, you will not make it very far here! He looks over at Jimmy one of the recruit wolves. Jimmy on the other hand was the weakest links in the pack now.

Wane- Jimmy get over here I have a job for you to do, a very simple job. I want you to take this fool down to the holding cells, when you get down there I want you to lock him up you got it? I want you to be a wolf starting now Jimmy, if you wish to go up the ranks.

Jimmy- yes sir Wane.

Jimmy picks Alpha up off the floor and tells him to follow him. Alpha follows Jimmy into the holding area. Alpha stops in front of a cage and Jimmy opens it to let him inside. Alpha steps in and Jimmy closes the gate. Jimmy gave sad eyes to Alpha as he walks back up the stairs and closes the door behind him. Alpha lays down in the corner of his cage and hears Britney’s voice calling to him. He looks up and she was in the cage next to his. She was captured earlier and was waiting for her punishment. She was not looking forward to it.

Britney- Alpha why did you let Wane get the best of you? You could have ended it while your pack was fighting the other wolves. That was the plan. To fight the other wolves and for you to put Wane down.

Alpha lays in the corner and says nothing. He was now stuck in a rock and a hard place now. The other dogs had finally made it back to the blimp. Just as they were closing the bridge they saw the wolves coming for them. The lead wolf told them to hold up and let them climb onboard. Beta looks at them crazy and looks at the other dogs.

Beta- how we know you guys won’t try and kill us when we let you up here. I mean you try to kill us and now you want to switch sides?

Connor- Look dude, we almost got shot by Cole! That guy is insane. We do not want to be a part of the evil anymore, so we thought why not join the dog’s side. Please forgive us for our previous actions we were only trying to do what Wane told us. I had no idea that Wane or Cole would ever do that to us.

Beta looks at Connor and starts feeling a little bit of sympathy for the wolves. He steps aside and tells them to hop onboard. The wolves all start running inside the big loading area. Brta closes the hatch to the bridge and says they needed to take the fight to the air. Beta heads up to the control room and pulls up Alpha’s location. He was still on the ground and he was surrounded by a red blob on the map. Beta knew that Wane had him and he was ready for them to come after them. Beta tells Gamma to get the airship airborne so they can get a little bit of resistance between them and the wolves.

Jimmy makes his way up the stairwell and walks onto the deck leading to the bridge. He told Wane it was done. Alpha was locked up and he was with Britney. Jimmy felt bad for Britney; he knew what Wane was going to do to her. He wanted to set her free along with Alpha. Jimmy sits at the big rectangular table in the cams room waiting for another assignment. Wane enters the room and approaches Jimmy with an evil grin on his face.

Wane- Jimmy, I have another assignment for you. If you complete this job, I will promote you to the top ranks. If you fail, I will terminate you for treason like I did Riley. Now I want you to go downstairs and go to Alpha. I want you to terminate him. He is t6he only pack Leader we haven’t got to. I offered him a chance to join our side and he spat in my face. He is just like all the others and Burns. So you can do it however you like just end him for me and then you are a true wolf member of the Alpha class.

Jimmy- Question, why do you have me doing your dirty work for you Wane, you can’t go down there and do it yourself? I don’t know the dog and he looks harmless. I don’t want to end his life. You want him dead so badly you do it.

Wane- because I am not the weakest link here Jimmy, You are on thin ice as it is. I am the Alpha and I told you to do it.

Jimmy- well I am not having his death on my conscience.

Wane- Okay, let me put it another way, in a way you will understand. Do the job or I’ll terminate you rookie, you hear that?!

Wane leaves the room and walks to the bridge. He was worried he was going to have to end another wolf’s life. Poor Jimmy was the youngest wolf in the pack. He had to be at least a year and a half. He gulps and makes his way to the hallway and looks across where the bridge was. Wane gave him a sharp look and Jimmy made his way to the stairs leading downstairs to the holding area. Jimmy shakes as he did not want to do this. He opens the door leading inside to the holding cells. Britney and Alpha both jump up as they see Jimmy enter the room.

Britney- So Wane is a coward after all huh, sending his minions to do his dirty work for him instead of him doing it himself. Pathetic, Wane thinks he is the darkest animal on the planet but he can’t show us that he is all that! Go ahead Jimmy kill us, forget everything I ever told you. You would really do this just to become Wane’s little follower!

Jimmy walks up to Alpha’s cage and steps inside and closes the door. Alpha backs to the corner as Jimmy slowly approaches him. Britney was freaking out trying to break out of her cage to get to Jimmy. Jimmy suddenly notices a camera in the corner of the room. It was looking dead at him. He knew that Wane and the other top wolves were watching him. He suddenly got an idea. He told Britney to calm down and he had a plan set in place to fake Alpha’s death. He had a red jar of psint which look almost like blood. He looks at Alpha and smiles.

Jimmy- I have a plan to get you two out of here. Ok so here is how this is going to work, this red paint will be like blood, and ill use black paint to mark wounds. Your job Alpha is to portend to be dead I will sneak you on a plane and I will fly you back to your blimp. What do you say, want to try it?

Alpha looks at Jimmy with a sad face and lays down. He was tired of all the action. He just wanted to go home and kick back and eat treats all day and watch TV. Then he thought of the other dogs back on the blimp. If he didn’t show up, he would be letting them all down. So he stands up and said he would go through with it. Wane watches the camera from the surveillance room. His eyes glued to Jimmy, The other Alpha members joined Wane and watched as well.

Charlie- Wane, are you sure this kid has what it takes to complete the job you gave him. He looks awfully nervous. He might be up to something sneaky want me to go down there and watch to make sure they aren’t trying to escape?

Wane- no, I want you guys to prepare the planes we should be approaching that blimp any minute, and we will have ourselves a dogfight in the air! Now move out gang, I want you guys to be in position. When I give you the word I want you guys to take off and get in the air in the dog planes.

With that the wolves take off to the flight hanger and hop into their planes. They open all the windows so when it was time they could fly out into the sky and intercept the blimp. Wane watches as Jimmy walks up to Alpha. Jimmy looks at the camera and smiles and shoves the paint brush into Alpha’s chest Red paint was all over his chest and he dips red paint on the floor to make it look like he was bleeding badly. Then Jimmy does a blow and puts all the red paint on him and Looks at the camera. Then the door leading upstairs opens and Charlie comes down. Charlie was shocked to see Alpha gone. Jimmy quickly said it was a fake to help Alpha escape. Charlie wanted to help Alpha and Britney so he quickly runs up to Alpha and covers him up, Then puts a wolf head on Britney to disguise her face. Charlie tells Jimmy to go tell Wane That Alpha was terminated and he would dump the body. Charlie drags Alpha carefully to his plane and puts Alpha inside the passenger seat. He lifts the cover off his head, Alpha smiles and hugs Charlie. He was very grateful for the two wolves saving his life. Charlie runs back inside the base and runs back to the holding area. Jimmy was coming up with Britney. Wane was coming down the stairs from the bridge.

Charlie- hide her if he sees we had freed her, he will kill both of us hurry Jimmy. Jimmy leads her down a long narrow hallway and hides her in a storage room. A patrol wolf was approaching them. He saw the wolf and dog go in but could not read who it was. The wolf runs to the entrance of the storage room and starts sniffing away. He makes his way around all the crates that were stuffed in the room. These were filled with land mines and trap replacement parts. Jimmy and Britney crawl their way around the crates and make their way to the exit. Jimmy closes and locks the door, the wolf charges and tries to break it down but couldn’t. Jimmy and Britney run to the hanger and meet up with Alpha who was sitting in the passenger seat. Britney hops into the gunman seat and puts on a helmet and goggles. They waited for Charlie who was the pilot of the plane. Charlie hops in the cockpit and awaits for the command of Wane to take off.

Charlie- alright guys once I touch down I want you two to jump out and get inside the blimp ASAP. I don’t want you guys caught in the dogfight that will happen between your pack and our pack Alpha. I need you and Britney to stay safe, you two are important to the family. Ok?

On the Bridge Wane gets on the loud speaker and tells the wolves to start their engines. Wane was ready to push to the blimp. He counts down from three to zero and yells launch! All the planes leave the hanger and they enter the wide open sky. They all fall in line behind the lead plane which was India. Wane wanted to head to the blimp by the manta jet. Jimmy was about to get onboard when Wane receives a call that Charlie’s plane has not left the hanger. Wane and Jimmy head to the hanger and see Charlie sitting there. Wane sees Britney at the gun in the back and Alpha sitting next to Charlie. Wane turns to Jimmy and snarls viciously at him, then Charlie takes off into the sky!

Wane- You idiot wolf I otta kill you right here! I have a better idea, I am going to tie you up and I will deal with you when we return from our dogfight.

Wane ties Jimmy up in a restraint chair and looks at him disappointingly and shakes his head in disgust. He starts walking back to the hanger and looks back over his shoulder. He gives him an evil smile and runs to the jet and hops onboard with Cole. Cole starts up the jet and is ready to face the victory that he and Wane will have.

Back at the blimp Beta looks out he sees the giant base come up from under the clouds and it is huge compared to the blimp. The base apparently was a giant aircraft in the shape of the manta jet. Beta alerts the other dogs, the Alpha class runs to their planes and hops inside. They gear u and are ready to fly out into the skies. Beta walks into the hanger and tells the dogs that today was a very important day in their family’s history. For once they felt like they could face the evil wolves that remained and get rid of evil. Then Beta hears incoming planes coming. He sprints out of the hanger and makes his way to the bridge. From the distance below the pack saw 10 planes coming from the horizon. The time was near. Beta alerted the pilots to start their engines. The fight was about to begin!
