I got a big a4 etchr sketchbook to do spreads of sketchy paintings to try and dive into ideas a bit more. Though I got a bit carried away and overworked these. I'm also gonna have to be easier with the eraser cause I mushed up the texture a bit in some areas.
These are for the next mythical birds piece, the Roc. I don't want them to be as big as they are in the myths, going for more of a Haast's eagle size but a bit bigger.

Artwork's been so slow while I've been working again, sorry about that. Though my temp placement's been cut short because of the lockdown's so my last day is Christmas eve! I'll be giving myself a few day's holiday and then I'll get back into drawing and painting!
