Tylian had decided to take a day off, and what a better place to go for him than the sea. After spending some time swimming in the cool water he opted for a little rest. However instead of going back to the beach he decided to hop on his brand new float he had brought just for that occasion.
In no time he was resting on the confy rubbery surface, floating peacefully on the warm waters, feet and tail hanging in the ocean as he closed his eyes, craddled into a half slumber by the waves rocking him back and forth gently.
Basking in the warmth of the summer sun he didn't realize he had begun drifting away, the current pulling him further away from the coast with each passing minute until it was no more than a vague line in the distance. Yet it didn't alarm him, and even if it did it was no big deal for him, he could always easily swim back to the shore.
Nevertheless, perhaps he should have been more careful, that way he might have noticed the large shadow slithering closer below the surface, it's gaze homed on his poor defenseless and sleepy self, it's large maw opening on rows of sharp teeth as it began climbing for him. I hope for him that it is a friendly big sea dragon coming for him and not an hungry predator eager for it's next meal.
