This is for you, 
lethalfeathers! I toldya I'd make you a burdy since we couldn't afford one at FAU3, and here she be. :B Hope you like it! (it may or may not be your bird depending on your preference. XD)
This was fun to make, I'm not used to using non-prismacolor colored pencils. But I think that once in a while it's good to take advantage of the cheaper ones on hand to mix it up. Prismacolors take so much work and hard pressing sometimes, it's nice to have a break. These worked really well for this picture, I think. But that might just be me.

Another great piece! Guh, I'm glad I stumbled across you through that vague search for pokemon art. I get piece after piece of grand talent to look at, haha! Once more, a great "feel good" piece. I love the yellowing and the cockatiel(sp?)-like crown. The pose is complex enough to convey emotion without being overly complex. Too much action with a winged creature implies flight, this is just a "yay wings! <3" moment that brought a smile to my face as I looked it over. The crown is rough, which I like because feathers don't really have a PRECISE order when serving as crowns, most of the time. Its realistic without being crazy-measured and anal about everything its depeicting like feather arrangement. I was going to complain that there was no background, but I realized I couldn't really think of anyplace appropriate to PUT her, so I guess I can understand the lack of one, haha. I like that you left out a good amount of detail in the feet. It doesn't matter how cute harpies are, if their feet look like flesh-rending claws of doom, its a real turn off. Same goes for anthros like this. You didn't make a huge deal out of her breasts or sex, but thought to give her a chest-tuft of feathers, which was a GREAT touch. She would've looked too smooth and plain without it, I think. Fantastic work!
Awh, that's ok. That's how I find most people, haha. (That, or snooping through other people's favs. > >) And that's the stuff I draw the most, so no worries. And Iono about grand talent, but thanks anyhow! Means so much. (How many times have I said that now? lol.) This whole piece is rather rough and sketchy, which I thought actually sorta worked for it. I'm glad you like this one too, and that you keep on commenting! It's truly touching, I just wish I could think of better responses. '^ ^
