"No! The sky is blue and has white fluffy clouds and birds and the sun!"

An idea I came up with for a steampunk universe where most cities are covered with dark smog and monsters roam the fields inbetween. Most citizens are born in cities and are either too afraid to leave, or live in cities where they don't even know they can. Lily here lives in the later kind...until a boy her age shows up and tells her all about the sky. She doesn't believe him...Until one day, he dragged her up one of the long spires and they broke through the dark cloud cover...and she saw the sky for the first time.

A sketch I've been doing on and off tha last week. I'm debating on painting it instead of color penciling it...maybe even practicing in PS
