Hiya so I finally go round to finishing a whole part! I have this bad habit of working on multiple projects and stories at once so each day 1% of 10 projects get done so hopefully soon more will be ready. (Next part of Skyrim Vore series is nearly done, and an extra POV story is nearly done) I do love my writing so please be kind enough to leave a review.
Note: This story is inspired by: The Last Samurai and as such I've included references. but still differed heavily from the movie. ^^
Disclaimer: No vore or fetish stuff here, this is the introduction chapter!

"The World as we know it is full of expansionist, cruel rulers trying to exploit people and land for their own personal gain. Despite the many factions at constant war, or the ever larger threat of the feral hordes. The Anthon republic grows it's borders only for profit and power. To find more islands away from the warring nations and strip them of everything, strengthening their position on the market and giving their own people luxuries while stripping others of theirs. Tell me, what did the natives ever do to deserve an invasion?" The old man asked.
Captain Kail rolled his eyes. He hated being down with the workers. Despite being so few of them on the boat they all seem to irritate him even more than the warriors above deck. The Captain stood up and straightened his uniform before walking over to the man with a smug look on his face. "Invasion eh?" The captain laughed. "How is bringing republic civilisation to them an invasion, it's more of a gift!" He chuckled, the captain pulled up a stool and sat down just outside the old man's cage. He pulled a bottle from his backpack and slowly sipped his wine. The old man continued to have a look of defeat on his face. "The gift of civilisation? How can blood spilling politics, corrupt economies and constant endless international war be a gift Captain? The people living on the island have no idea of anything we have, neither did we until the republic voted for invasion of these innocent people. At a time where the blood thirsty Northern Kios invades Redwoods and The southern Kios create weapons of fire and death. Not to mention the feral hordes! Is this really the correct use of republic resources? Subjugation? or should we protect the people you claim to protect. You know as much as I do the republic is only about Profit!"
After the old man had finished Kail simply looked at him with pity. The Captain was supposed to see him as nothing more than a babbling old fool. Kail stood and walked away chuckling as he sipped his wine some more. "You keep telling yourself that old man, besides you know a good bit about politics, shame your not leaving the island!" The Captain cruelly teased. He closed the door behind him and walked up the creaking wooden steps from the lower deck on his way to the top deck. He breathed in the fresh air flowing from one of the windows. The sea air wasn't much for him, Kail preferred to be on solid ground and safe, but duty calls, at least that's what he's supposed to say is his reason for being here. He passed a few Hoplite warriors on his way to the surface. The men never tire of their culture. The armour never coming off until sleep. Few can match the discipline and devotion of a Anthon Hoplite. Even though they were in idle conversation they still walked in perfect march. Kail rolled his eyes. At least there wasn't one anthro on this ship.
That was one upside of the mission. Kail hated the constant rise of anthro populations within the republic. Despite most of them being enslaved or lower class. He disliked them in general. He couldn't quite tell why. But they always showed themselves better in someway, to humans. It was a main reason for public opinion against the anthros for some time, until recently the republic has allowed the anthro people basic liberties. Only because the slave population grew too high.
Kail made his way to the surface, passing the disturbing smell off the cabins and past the armoury and kitchens. At least he knew they were having more werewolf jerky tonight. He opened the hatch to the top deck and was blinded by the immense light of the sea sun. It was a godly day to sail, calm waters, pure sun, beautiful light and lovely winds, if Kail was a seaman he would love it. But he wasn't and to be honest he hated everything about this mission. The Captain made his way past crew, Hoplites, Archers and more until he reached the Captains deck where the Commander was speaking to the Ship Captain and Navigator. Kail stood behind them and crossed his arms, making a thunderous expression upon his face at the sight of the commander.
The commander himself was a curly haired ginger human with a posh stance and a constant look of superiority. But that wasn't what Kail hated about him. Kail himself was a human male with longer Brown hair. He stood a bit more relaxed against the railing. After the Commander was finished he waved the rest of the crew off and they left without a second word, leaving the Captain and Commander alone, glaring at one another. The two remained still for a minute before the smug grin on the commander's face made Kail want to be seasick.
"What's the matter now Captain, still hating your own people? Tell me why your so opposed to this trip? hmm? The old man below probably worsened your opinion but the boys said you argue for the invasion!" The slick commander smiled. He walked as he spoke eventually leaning over the side and looking at the sea the ship left behind. "You know dam well why, it's not like I'm here by choice." Kail replied, he wanted to throw the commander overboard, but if anyone else knew he would be the obvious suspect. "This little expedition is important to expand the republic!" The commander chuckled, "Why else would we go here?" He mocked as he lit a cigar and blew the smoke in Kail's face.
Kail wanted to punch him, very hard. But he held back. He turned to face the smug bastard and glared once more. "Why are there no colonists then?" He asked, knowing the answer. "If it was to Expand, as you say, where are the people to reside here? Or is it like the past few times where we strip these regions of everything so the assholes in the Capital city get to live their best while everyone outside the republic starve and die?" Kail told the commander straight. Kail always hated when people would make him out to be the villain. As if he chose what island lived and what island died. Truth is he agreed with the protesters about how wrong the republic was in its colonial efforts. But it wouldn't change a thing. The commander chuckled. "These savages don't deserve what our people do, and those people in the Capital, pay your salary so watch it 'Captain' or you'll find yourself left behind!"
Kail slammed his hand on the side of the ship and turned around in a fury. "You know full well you're looking for any excuse to be rid of me!" He growled "Admit it! You coward!" Kail threatened the commander, who stood there, still with a smug grin. Two Hoplites rushed up the stairs and stood behind them. "Is everything alright Sir?" They asked the commander. The smug cunt simply waved them off and they both marched away, in perfect sync as usual. "Just remember how you got here Kail, and why that girl covered for you. Keep an eye on that temper, or you won't get to the island at all!" The commander turned away and faced outwards onto the ship. "Your dismissed." He said mockingly.
There was nothing Kail could do. He stormed off semi-obediently, marching straight towards the mess hall. Kail was furious and pushed past everyone in his way. He stomped down the stairs, down the wooden hallway until turning into the larger open canteen hall. He grabbed a bottle of Wine and sat alone, on a table in the corner. He looked down into the liquid. The very thing that dragged him into the mess. Kail sighed and leaned back as he took a mighty swig...
One Week Ago
Kail marched up and down he usual route. He got the awful pleassure of patroling the back streets. Both sides lines with bars, pubs, brothels and other wonders of civilisation. Kail marched down the cobble path, looking around while nothing happened. Just him on a street with a few civilians passing by. He saw a young anthro fox boy running around, laughing playing in the street. The Captain quickened his pace. He marched right up to the young fox lad and when the boy heard him coming the fox turned and suddenly his expression turned from joy to fear.
"What the hell do you think this is?" Kail growled. The young boy backing up. "I.... I... was just..." He stammered, frightened by the presence of irritated human officer. "SPEAK BOY, Where are your parents?" Kail grabbed him by the arm. The boy yelped and whimpered. "Just one street over, I'll go mister, I'll go!" He whimpered. Kail threw the lad back and indicated to get going. The fox turned and ran, whimpering and stumbling as he went...
"CAPTAIN!"
Kail jolted awake violently, he stumbled out of his seat and grabbed a hand on the hilt of his sword. He looked about dazed and confused. Until his vison focused and in front of him stood a short, dark Anthon soldier. Kail pushed him back. "You better have a good excuse for waking me so rudely Levy!" Kail growled. The soldier cleared his throat uncomfortably. "The commander said you would be in here Sir, he wanted to let you know, we've arrived and your to report to the camp at once Sir!" the young lad instructed the Captain.
Kail sighed and wiped his head. "Sorry, for snapping kid, Had a nightmare, just don't wake a superior officer like that again!" Kail warned. "Yes Sir!" He obeyed. Kail walked out of the mess hall slowly, still trying to get his head in line. He made his way to the surface and was nearly blinded by the searing bright sun. He covered his eyes and made his way to the front of the ship and saw a great wide island, a long stretch of beach and the beautiful sight was ruined by a republican military camp right in the middle of it.
