Sloppy isn't so much an issue when the lines/character have attitude =)
Also yeah, he looks feline, not "feminine" despite what some of the commenters thought. o_O I looked really hard trying to see it but I just saw "house cat on hind legs, human clothing" not... even obviously gendered apart from the clothes themselves.

I love the sense of volume going on here and the fun design of the two characters. The rakish angle of the hat is a nice touch and the belt that holds up nothing is a nice element to add while also bringing a smile to my face. And to top it off the two shorthand faces in the center are awesome! Totally makes me think of the old Little Golden Books style of presentation.
