You should always beware of avians, if they want they'll snap you up and swallow you don't without a trace and no one will ever know what happened to you!
One of many doodles done lately, this sequence I likeda lot though. (I post most of my quick stuff on twitter as FA is a bit of a faff to upload to ^^; )

With a casual lift of it shead the pelican empties the contents of its pouch down into its stretchy gullet, smothly sending its wiggly catch towards its stomach. Once inside, the prey swells the bird's belly significantly, getting a coating of thick warm acids in return. Added with the regular churning of the avian's stomach, the swallowed person will not stay kicking -or solid for that matter- for long.
