deers certainly seem to be in demand these days. Rather dashing looking fellow he is turning out to be. Nice work as always FS :)

I like the antlers, and it looks nice and clean like all your work, but species-wise it's quite confusing. The nose looks very dog-like to me.

Ohh, I think we can blame that on my reference art. I was never too fond of deer noses so I took a little creative license when I designed him.

Deer noses ( and skull structure) make it difficult to get vision out of if built like a Deer's anotomy, ( as their eyes are basically on the sides of the head, and not in front like ours) so some compromises have to be done to make fursuit heads practical. This head has the muzzle more closer to a deer than my canines, ( the nose, shape, etc is different. Again a real deer's mouth/jaw structure is not practical for a fursuit aswell, so the jaw opening has to be longer aswell. And last it was designed as Ideno said based of art reference pics closely. If you look around at many deer fursuits out there you will see the same thing, the eyes are on the front, the muzzles has canine traits, everythign that allows them to work with our head & eye anotomy.

All I was the nose, not the muzzle. lol! Plus it was explained to me already. XD The nose would not change a thing about the head shape. I have seen people like Beetlecat make deer noses that look more accurate to real life without impeding on vision in the past, it is possible!

ALL I was referring to was the nose, I understand the rest, I have 5 suits. ;D
